SBL/ETS papers on James by Mariam Kamell
Mariam Kamell, PhD candidate at St. Andrews (Scotland) and fellow blogger (theGreekGeek), has been kind enough to let James the Just host two papers that she presented at the recent SBL and ETS meetings in Washington D.C.:- "The Emergent Need for James." Paper presented at the Evangelical Theological Society Annual Meeting, Washington D.C., 15 November 2006.
- "The Word/Law in James as the Promised New Covenant." Paper presented at the Society of Biblical Literature Annual Meeting, Washington D.C., 19 November 2006.

Do you know if Mariam's dissertation is related to James? If so, do you know the exact topic? Thanks.
Yes it is related to James. Somewhere in the back of my head I have her exact topic stored in memory, but I think my harddrive crashed. You may be able to find it at her blog. Here's a link to all her posts with the words "dissertation" and "James" in them.
